Lyngford Park Surgery Extension

Lyngford Park Surgery is building an extension!

Work begins in May 2021 to start building an extension to the Lyngford Park Surgery site. The reason we are doing this is to provide more clinical and admin space for our patients and staff, and ensure that we are able to meet the demands of our growing number of patients.

Throughout the building work, we are open for business as usual (still taking precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19 according to national guidelines). As the building work progresses, we may need to move the patient entrance and change the entrance to the car park, but the works are planned in a way to keep any disruption to patients and staff to a minimum. There may be noise from the work during the day, but wherever possible this will take place at weekends.

Our team at Lyngford Park Surgery are very excited about the new extension and are looking forward to welcoming you to the new clinical and treatment rooms when they are completed. This new building will enable us all to continue to provide an excellent NHS primary care (GP) service to our patients into the future.

The building work will take place in phases, starting with the building on the left of the existing building (if you are in the car park facing the surgery) creating a new treatment room and upstairs office space. Then work will start on the right side of the building (if you are in the car park facing the surgery) and the current porch will become part of the building, extending out the waiting room, creating further clinic rooms and upstairs offices.
